The award looks like this:
Is Solidarity Blogging Worthwhile?
Blogging is a communicative act. We blog to share, to educate, to learn, to unload, and perhaps even to find soulmates. Blogging is throwing a bottle into the ocean with a handwritten note or drawing curled up inside, and hoping for the best as we let it free. It’s an act of release and also of hope.
Solidarity blogging is a community of bottle throwers casting our intellectual riches into the sea, discovering that we are quite alike one another in some ways, and also refreshingly unique in others. Each bottle is a new adventure, a new story, a new illustration of this pursuit we call life.
Per the award guidelines, here are the 10 fellow bottle throwers I’d like to nominate for the Lovely Solidarity Blogger Award. I’ve found the fine, creative work on each of these blogs to be inspiring:
- Ex Libris Regina
- Insidious Cravings
- Little Fears
- Poetry, Short Prose and Walking
- Ramblings of a Writer
- Short Poems and Other Nonsense
- The Showers of Blessing
- Words In the Light
