“He’s frowning with such seriousness
But I can’t tell what’s the matter.”
“No worries; his imperiousness
Is just leaking out his bladder.”

Protect the wage but not the wagerer
Who gambles others’ savings like a game.
Respect the badge but not the badgerer;
To push without authority is lame.
Privacy should not be of the past;
It’s sacred space that’s truly meant to last.
Respect for one another is the key
To living in a free society.
The U.S. is scared of the clowns,
Since they’re creeping in each of our towns.
But they don’t put the scare in me
Like Trump or like Hillary,
The two jesters who fight for the crown.
We had our chance before
But we dropped it on the floor.
This time make sure to vote–
Let’s vote Yes! on 64.
Why not combine for all the best
And leave behind the chaff,
The scandal-vestured scary chick
With master of the gaff?
He’s a walking powder keg,
And says just what he thinks.
She’s a seasoned politician,
Schooled in all that stinks.
